Do you Ever Feel like you’re ‘Not Enough’?
or... maybe you’re just “too much”?
Afraid to fully be who you are?
Afraid of what other people might think?
Do you ever feel yourself seeking Validation from an external source?
... holding out for someone else’s approval, before making decisions?
...constantly checking for “likes” and comments... seeking accolades...
...or afraid to say what you really feel and think, for fear of rejection?
...hustling for a sense of recognition or Self Worth?
Are you feeling a lack of presence within?
Do you find yourself numbing out?
...avoiding your vital presence and feelings, by ‘checking out’ with distractions....
...engaging in behaviours like passive social media consumption,
...binge watching episodes or rolling down the dark side of YouTube...
...overeating mindlessly, or consistently consuming processed food products,
...surrounding yourself with drama, being “so busy”, overworking, entanglement in toxic relationships...
Are you leaking energy with old habits and ways of being?
Stuck in old patterns of behaviour that you know no longer serve you?
Are you noticing lingering feelings of resentment towards others?
Feeling Shame about yourself?
Do you feel disconnected, lost, stuck or unproductive?
Are you limiting and hiding yourself from FULLY and TRULY showing up?
Have you been glossing over, or perhaps bypassing the internal work altogether?

see the dragon,

please, just STOP Ignoring the dragon

"There's no such thing as dragons" you say? So did Billy's mom in the children's book by Jack Kent called just that.

If you aren't familiar with the book, the story tells the tale of young Billy who awakens one morning to find a small dragon in his bedroom. Billy has never seen a dragon before, is curious about the new visitor and pats its head. But when Billy goes downstairs and tells his mom about the dragon, she says “there’s no such thing as a dragon.”
Billy returns to his room and ignores the dragon’s bid for a pat on the head. After all, there’s no sense patting something that doesn’t exist.
Over time, the dragon starts to grow. He gets as big as a dog and then as big as Billy’s mother. He starts to create havoc around the house and make a mess. But Billy’s mother continues to deny it exists.
Eventually, the dragon grows so big that it overwhelms the house. When a bakery truck drives down the road, the dragon follows…with the house on its back! It is only when Billy’s father returns home, discovers the house has been moved, and asks “what happened?” that Billy is finally able to say “it was the dragon.” And his mother concedes.
As the family acknowledges the dragon, it starts to shrink. Finally, it returns to kitten size, which Billy’s mom admits isn’t so bad. The story ends with little Billy remarking, “I think it just wanted to be noticed.”

I love this book. Its big lesson is that we must not ignore the dragons in our lives or they will grow bigger and bigger, until they are debilitating. Acknowledging your dragons is necessary to keep them kitten-sized.

Utilizing the technology of Active Meditations and Ritual Processes, Myah will guide you through these practices holding space for your personal transformation.

expansive bravery and courage

Picture
Courage isn't just for superheroes.
It isn't an unusual act of bravery as  courage precedes all positive change. Courage is the magic key that opens the door to the full experience of life.
Of course, no courage is needed if you refuse to take any risks. If you don’t risk anything, the truth you must eventually face is that you are actually risking everything! You see, people who react to life from a state of continuous fear instead of courage are stressed out and uncertain, lost in a dark cloud of doubt and worry. They are terrified of change, when change is what is happening all the time.

Would you like to have more courage? First, expand your definition of what courage means.  Courage starts in the mind, and then works its way out into the world.

Bravery and Courage are not the absence of fear, but the act of showing up and proceeding through the fear.

Authentic alignment

Picture

Ask yourself three simple questions:

Am I fulfilled?
Am I happy?
Am I healthy?
If your answer to any of these is less than a unwaivering “Yes!” then you’re not living life to the fullest. Worse, you’re not living the rich and purpose-driven existence you were meant to have.

Authentic Alignment allows you the ability to sit with both the light and the shadows, to navigate through fear and shame and peel back layer after layer of masks and facades created to keep you safe, stuck and doubting your power.

Recognize the doubt, shame and fear and begin illuminating them. Shine light into areas long repressed and suffocated. Create a space of containment which allow for all parts of you, without needing to label them good or bad.
